Wrath (1997) |
When I was four years old, my dad had inflicted some now-forgotten injury upon me (this injury was along the lines of telling me he was going to do something & then forgettingnothing big). When my mom told me that I should forgive & forget, I responded very seriously, "I can forgive, but I never forget." I didn't learn of this incident until many years later (and ironically, I have no recollection of what inspired it), but in the meantime, I had already woven it into the fabric of my existence. I now spend a good deal of my energy stewing over sins that have been committed against me. But then, I'm all plot and no action, so it's not so bad. I'll leave Wrath to those of you who actually execute your evil.
