Cover Girl Marathon mascara
The CoverGirl Marathon mascara that is wonderful is the waterproof
tube. This mascara is the only one that is very similar to the Lancome
Aquacils mascara. I only buy the Lancome mascara when there is a
gift w/purchase because I'm not rich and even if you are rich $17
for one itsy-bitsy tube, are you kidding at least the gift gives
you two full size lipsticks and about 5 other little items. Anyway,
the Marathon mascara is the best impostor I've found so far. The
mascara is lengthening and thickening and it doesn't weigh down
the lashes, also, it is excellent for sensitive eyes. I'm a contact
lens wearer so take it from me that it's non-irritating and there
are no flakes of mascara falling into the eye like a lost small
eyelash (ouch!)
Housewife Notes: I haven't
had a need for waterproof mascara in many moons, but I found Marathon
very pleasing for years back when I spent a lot of time in the water.
Since then, I've been a firm believer in Great Lash, even if they
did destroy the most perfect bottle design of all times.
